The magnificent Bang Pa-In Summer Palace is ancient palace back to Ayutthaya era - the 17th century. The palace is a mix of Thai, Chinese and European style buildings set in large landscaped grounds.
Ayutthaya, the World Heritage site and the second capital of the Siamese Kingdom, is now an archaeological ruin, characterized by the remains of Buddhist monasteries. The must-visit temples are Wat Mahathat Worawihan and Wat Phra Si Sanphet.
